So many times we may get bogged down in the every day, same routine, wondering if we really are doing any good with our homes. We may even be ridiculed by the world that we are "just housewives". But we can rest assured that God is God, and He has promised to bless His children for obedience. If we train our children up in the LORD, then He has promised that they will NEVER depart from it. That is a wonderful promise!
Here is a quote I came across from Charles Spurgeon that is very uplifting especially in our day and time, even though He said it over 100 years ago!
"You are as much serving God in looking after your own children, and training them up in God’s fear, and minding the house, and making your household a church for God, as you would be if you had been called to lead an army to battle for the Lord of hosts."
Don't give up hope! With God, NOTHING is impossible!
