What is your world-view?

It has been cited by the Barna Group that only 19% of born-again believers have a Biblical Worldview.  You heard me correctly.  That is only 1 in 5 Christians!  Where are we heading?  The Bible clearly states in verse 18 of Proverbs chapter 29, "Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he."  We are heading down a slippery slope my friend, if we don't repent and start applying God's Law in our homes, churches, and civil governments.  If only 19% of so called "born-again" Christians possess a Biblical Worldview, then how do we expect to see change in our country?  There is so much doom and gloom in our world today, our country seems to be falling into the abyss of socialism, yet we as Christians have sat back (for the most part) and just watched it happen.  Get this, only 19% of born-again Christians believe the Bible is totally accurate in all the principals it teaches!  Only 19% believe that Jesus lived a sinless life on this earth, ONLY 19% believe that God is the all knowing, all powerful creator of the world and still rules the world today!!!  This isn't a poll to see how many people in general believe this, this is "born-again" Christians!  I don't know about you, but that puts a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach.  They also state that a person's worldview is firmly in place by the time someone reaches the age of 13.  All the more reason to be instilling God's Word into our children from the moment they are born.  It must begin at home.  Men must take responsibility for the spiritual well-being of their families.  Women must not cow down to the pressure that they aren't capable to "teach" their children at home.  We need to get rid of this "government school" mentality, and quit trying to recreate a "school" setting in our homes.  Everyday is a learning experience!  We have been brain washed into thinking we must have some kind of "credentials" to teach our children....to teach them What??  Socialistic propaganda?  We need to get back to basics and train our children up in the nurture and admonition of the LORD.  We need to re-wash our brains with God's Word and make Him LORD of our lives, our homes, our churches, AND our country once again!  The Bible MUST be our standard for Faith and Practice and for ALL of life.  Is He LORD of your life?  Are you one of the 19% ?
